Mrs. Clark1st Grade
kclark@lakeview-academy.com

I was born and raised in Ephraim, Utah until I was 17 at which time my family moved to Ogden and I spent a year in Australia as an exchange student.  I graduated from Weber High and then we moved to Logan Utah.

I attended Utah State University earning a dual degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.  I began my teaching career in Logan and after three years I decided to get my master's degree at night.  I graduated with my master's degree in 1991 in Instructional Technology with a library media specialist focus.

Looking for an adventure I accepted a media specialist job in a school district in Klamath Falls, Oregon.  I met and married my husband Roger shortly after moving there.  I've taught all grades K-6 but teaching first grade is where my heart lies.  We have six children Teancum, Helaman, Zjani, Shanesa, Katira and Lehi.

In 2006 we decided to come back to Utah to raise our children so I accepted a job here at Lakeview Academy.  I love to teach.  It is fulfilling to watch children learn and grow as learners.  I also love to learn from them.

Hobbies:
Things I enjoy doing besides teaching are scrapbooking, quilt making, book making, being with my husband and kids, and being at the beach.  Someday they will invent a 36 hour day so that I can get all of it in. :-)
