I am Linda Nelson; a full-time 6th grade teacher at Lakeview Academy.  I have completed my years in Jordan School District and am excited to be teaching the students of our community.  Yes, I live in Saratoga Springs so another plus is a 5 minute commute and air conditioning.

I received a B.A. degree at Paterson State College and my Masters from BYU.  I am certified as an elementary teacher with endorsements in English, reading, and ESL.  I have an additional 60 semester hours beyond the M.S.  In Jordan I went back and forth between 5th and 6th grade and middle school English/reading.

My husband and I have seven children, 1 girl and 6 boys.  I love to read and travel.  Among other places, my husband and I spent time in Yellowstone and the Oregon Coast this summer.
