Hello and welcome to my class!  I look forward to getting to know you.  Here's a little about me:

I was born in Payson, Utah and I grew up in a town called Castle Dale.  When I was in school my favorite subject was reading and writing, and I loved roller skating and jumping rope.  When I was in high school I was in photography, yearbook, the newspaper staff, and participated in many other activities to keep me busy.

I went to college at CEU in Price, Utah; after I received my Associate's degree, I was accepted into Utah State University's Education Program.  I always enjoyed school, especially my classes to become a teacher!

After I graduated with my degree and teaching certificate, off I went to teach at a new charter school in Arizona (in 2002).  After four wonderful years there, a miracle son (he survived being a 24 week preemie), three grades and a lot of hard work and great students, I decided to move back to Utah to be closer to my family.  I have worked at Lakeview Academy since the school opened in 2006.

I have a younger sister and an older brother (who has a wife and three kids), and my parents, who still live in the house I grew up in, right across the street from where I went to high school.  I have my son, Wesley, who is almost 5, and a wonderful man who loves us both (we're getting married this fall)!

My favorite things are reading, laughing, playing tennis, writing, watching movies, playing outside, camping, going to Lagoon, watching football (Go Giants!), and being with my friends and family.  I love sharing my knowledge with others, as well as learning new things from any source.  My favorite food at the moment is sushi, but I will pretty much eat anything.
