Every educator with an assignment in a Utah public school is required to have a valid Utah educator license (Utah State Code 53E-6-201) with appropriate license areas and endorsements (R277-309). Lakeview Academy may employee teachers working under a LEA Specific license. This license is an approved Utah teaching license and allows an employee to teach for up to 3 years while completing requirements to obtain a Utah Professional license. The Board of Trustees includes the report and approval of these teachers during public board meetings during the school year.
